This week's games

Thursday alert: Please note that there is a Thursday night game this week, so that means you need to turn in your picks before that game starts. All picks must be turned in at the same time, so don't send a pick for Thursday's game with a promise of more to come later. If you miss Thursday's game, you can still send in your picks for the other four.

It's an all-bonus-game week, including a couple of underdogs worth four points if they win. Will Vanderbilt, which beat South Carolina last season, deliver the upset again? Will Boston College continue its quest to be as unpredictable as Clemson? Can Skip Holtz keep the wins rolling for East Carolina? And could Houston Nutt possibly pull out an upset against Wake Forest? The Nutt haters who pick Wake in this game probably won't be too happy if he does.

The games for Week 2 follow. For $800 and the pretigious Ramon Escobar Trophy, select your winners and e-mail them back to me by 5 p.m. Thursday.
