This week's games

Wally Hall writes today that "What happened to Nutt at Arkansas was typical of college football." Yeah, if all that transpired in the last two years at Arkansas was just "typical" college football, we would not be debating whether Nutt is going to get booed unmercifully by the likes of Joe Chu or whether Ole Miss fans have truly rented a plane to fly a banner over Razorback Stadium, and 103.7 would not be getting so many calls this morning from Arkansas fans declaring that they will be cheering for Ole Miss on Saturday. If this was just a "typical" college football game, we would not be seeing a match-up of two 3-4 teams bump off one of several cruel ACC games to make the list of five this week. This is not your average everyday game. I ordinarily would not put a game available only on PPV on the list, but with interest so high, you know it had to be there.

So get ready for a complete circus in Fayetteville and the rest of the intriguing games for Week 9. For $800 and the Ramon Escobar Trophy, which would be a nice consolation for the Sawks fans out there, select your winners and e-mail them back to me by 5 p.m. Friday.
