Just four seasons ago, Baylor was enjoying yet another 4-8 season on top of the 13 previous losing seasons. That overall record included a 1-7 in conference play, a familiar ratio of wins to losses for Baylor in the Big 12. But jump from 2009 to 2013, and Baylor, currently the best team in the Big 12, is now an unheard-of-for-any-school 15-point favorite against Oklahoma and No. 6 in the BCS. Meanwhile, Arkansas, which had risen to No. 3 in the BCS as recently as 2011, has fallen so far that the Razorbacks should be glad there is no relegation in college football or else we would all be talking Sun Belt next year. We know how Auburn does it (bagman), but how does Baylor continue to do this as Arkansas, a richer program in just about any way you could count, flounders so badly with no sign of direction? Congrats, Baylor, you may not have allowed dancing on campus until 1996, but you have put together a solid football program and hired a great coach. And your stadium is even better than Missouri's.
