This week's games

President Obama said on Monday Night Football that one of the biggest issues facing sports is instituting a playoff for college football. No wonder so many people around the country were celebrating last night. This season more than any in recent memory warrants eight teams getting a shot at the end of the season, and more than half of the teams in this week's games might be in that mix. To those who say a playoff simply isn't possible, I say, Yes we can.

Here's Week 11, a taste of some teams that might be jockeying for a playoff spot plus the annual battle of Holy orders. For $800 and the Ramon Escobar Trophy, universally acknowledged by both the Jesuits and Congregation of Holy Cross, select your winners and e-mail them back to me by 5 p.m. Thursday. Don't forget to hit send.
