This week's games

In my day, the most exciting thing I ever heard happening on a Saturday on the Vanderbilt campus was when Tim the Enchanter would put up fliers in Kirk Wilson's dorm inviting everyone back to his room for a performance of his version of "magic." That changes Saturday when the ESPN Gameday crew and the biggest game of the week arrive at the former academic home of Geoff Hicks and Marvelous Boyd. In another dramatic change, this is the most worried Auburn fans have ever been about playing the Commodores, who are trying to prove themselves as one of the best teams in the SEC -- and that's without even having an athletic department. Can you imagine Vanderbilt in the SEC championship game? It could happen, especially if Tim the Enchanter is casting his spells from the stands Saturday night.

Here are the games for Week 6, including 5-0 Connecticut as the only bonus-point team. For $800 and the Ramon Escobar Trophy, the missing incentive in the House bailout package, select your winners and e-mail them back to me by 5 p.m. Friday. That's Friday, Sal.
