Auburn fans, your thoughts on the game?

I only saw the fourth quarter and the overtime, so I can't make an assessment on Auburn's performance throughout the game. I know quarterback Brandon Cox is catching a lot of heat right now. I was never high on Jason Campbell, but he's starting in the NFL and I am starting to appreciate him more compared to Cox. I'm also wondering how Auburn fans feel about Tommy Tuberville's decision to run out the clock and if Bobby Lowder has the plane fired up yet. You have to hand it to South Florida. There was a reason Auburn was only a seven-point favorite. That program is on the rise, and I was surprised to learn that South Florida has the second-highest student enrollment in Florida behind the Gators.

I think Auburn fans should get ready to see Fort Smith's Kodi Burns on the field very soon.

Cox is a disaster, always has been inconsistent, and at this point is not worth playing since he's a 5th year senior. The coaching staff loves to cover his ass by saying he was hurt all last season, he's tough, blah, blah, blah, but the fact is he makes bad decisions, holds on the ball too long, and generally can't handle the pressure of the SEC (or Big East apparently). The best thing Auburn can do now is accept the 7-5 (possibly 8-4) season that seems to be brewing and get Kodi some work for next year.

As for Tubbs, I was initially irate at the lack of testicular fortitude in the final minute, but upon reflection of Cox's performance he was probably justified in playing conservative and avoiding another turnover from that damn hippy clerk Cox.
